Parking:
Limited parking is available in the parking lot in front of bldg 1 (UWDC Det San Diego). Empty spaces can be difficult to find, especially after 0830.

Procedures:
UWDC Det San Diego is located on the third deck of BLDG 1. Use the entrance facing Harbor Blvd. UWDC Det San Diego reception area is on the left as you enter the building. If security clearances are on file, the UWDC Det San Diego receptionist will notify the visitor’s point of contact and will provide visitors with further guidance. Visitors will use the storage cabinet in the UWDC Det San Diego reception area to secure their portable electronic devices (PEDs) (cell phones, palm pilots, blackberries, etc.). Official laptops will be allowed only in unclassified meetings in UWDC Det San Diego conference rooms.

Other Security Issues:
All packages will be subject to visual inspection. Cell phones, Blackberries, pagers, are NOT allowed inside UWDC Det San Diego's spaces. Please leave them in your vehicle or turn them over to the receptionist. Cameras are not allowed without prior formal approval.
